Public Consultation Ham Close Redevelopment Proposal. A Ham Common 'village green' plan form to create a series
of identifiable public spaces to which small groups of houses can relate and identify with.

The layout provides:

- 194 new dwellings
- 74 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom houses
- 74 private gardens
- 5 'village greens', which are an extension of Ham Close, open space
- 3 children's play areas
- Local car parking overlooked by housing to ensure car security
- Quiet tree screened areas that can be used by flats and 1st floor maisonettes
- A parking provision of 1:0.8, slightly less than that already provided
- Pedestrian footpaths through the site via the 'village greens'
- Development can be phased within the boundaries of existing site to ensure the convenience of only one move.
